Chicago Children’s and Family Photographer Marmalade Photography has been creating beautifully emotive imagery for some of area Chicago families since 2005. The creator of Marmalade Photography is professional photographer Marianne Drenthe who has applied her world renowned gift of image making to create a custom photography service in the Chicago area like no other.
Drawing from her inspiration of beautifully soft Impressionist paintings , her strength of observation and her ability to re-create moments and feelings through the lens of her camera, Marianne Drenthe created Marmalade Photography for a better, more artistic photography experience in mind for Chicago children and families then what had existed prior to the inception of Marmalade Photography.
Drawing upon her love of relationships, her love of connection with people, her love of moody and soft light as well as her passion for exploring new places Marianne places a premium on creating experiential photo outings for her subjects; many of whom dub their Marmalade Photography sessions as “field trips”.
Sometimes they are literally trips to a field…or a forest or an urban environment or a water setting and sometimes even the prairie!
